I specialize in Smoky eyes
Saturday, December 2nd, 2006On the 25th of November 2006, i became the proud beholder of a Diploma in Professional Makeup! Woohoo!! It was one full year of experimenting on faces and now i’m finally a certifies artist. It was months of hard work and constant juggle, but finally, theres no more classs…
Moving on, i’ve finally gotten the time to settle down with clients on weekends, so for all the girls out there, do bear in mind that i specialize in smoky eyes ok
Phew… November and December has been a busy month, of celebration and annual dinners and weddings, of course. I had 5 clients today- thats a record in the making. In fact, i’ve been getting clientsevery weekend ever since Raya got here. Which is good, because this is a smooth transition from classes to clients.
For those who are really wondering what kind of makeup i often paint on people’s faces, let me give some quick points:
1. Nude makeup: for the day wear, extremely easy, emphasize on bare, clear skin and soft lashes.
2. Two-point day wear: Two colors on the lids, light soft colors, the darker shade on the outer side, with a 30% touch.
3. Two-point evening wear: Two colors on the lids, a deep color and a lighter color, the darker shade on the outer side, with a 30% touch.
4. Smoky eyes: Dark, round, one-point color, followed by a light highlight. Very dramatic, and i call mine The Evanesence or The Alicia Keys.
5. Deep-set: For those with obvious brow bone. Very difficult to paint, but looks very artistic when i’m all done. Create a sharp "V" ant-clockwise with dark eyeliner and color the insides with a lighter shade. Good for evening wear.
But above all, i love the smoky eyes the best, because it creates a lot of drama to the eyes.
Pair it with nude, clear lippy. Yummy
